The gathering of university scientific associations was held in the university's conference hall on Saturday, 9th of Dey month, 1402. Here is a summary of this event:

The acting head of Amirkabir University of Technology emphasized the necessity of developing and supporting industrial visits for students.
The acting head of Amirkabir University of Technology emphasized the necessity of developing and supporting industrial visits for students and stated: One of the responsibilities of university scientific associations is to plan and organize scientific visits to enhance the level of students' knowledge, so they know what kind of goals are pursued in each field, what facilities that field has, and what activities are being done in that area.
According to the public relations of Amirkabir University of Technology, Dr. Alireza Rahaei emphasized the importance of supporting and creating a suitable platform for the growth of student scientific associations at the gathering of university scientific associations. He stated, "What we have been involved in over the past few decades is that the scientific associations of Amirkabir University of Technology have been among the most successful associations at the national and international levels. In the 90s, our scientific associations repeatedly participated in various international competitions in European, African, American, and Asian countries, and wherever they participated, they achieved a good position and received good prizes, demonstrating their worthiness."

He further stated, "My recommendation to new students is to try to have close and good cooperation with scientific communities and spend their leisure time in these associations." The acting head of Amirkabir University of Technology emphasized that the first program we have in scientific associations is holding scientific competitions, whether at the university, faculty, national, or international level, which is a good way to think better and think more. In fact, scientific associations themselves are a place for more thinking, groundwork, idea generation, and development of scientific activities.

Rahaei continued, "In scientific competitions, a good competitive environment is formed so that individuals who have the necessary motivation and talent for scientific work can demonstrate their potential in the best possible way. For this reason, the university values the organization of these competitions. As I emphasized, the teams of our scientific associations, which had a serious presence in the past, are a sign of the investments that the university is making in this field."
The head of Amirkabir University of Technology emphasized the need to expand support for scientific associations, stating: "If our scientific associations are exposed to issues and problems, they can provide the best and highest quality solutions for solving these problems. Therefore, this area will have broader horizons in the future." He also emphasized the importance of scientific visits in the associations, stating, "All students have entered the scientific environment, but perhaps the overall perspective, meaning the goals of the field, has not been well defined for them. One of the duties of the university's scientific associations is planning and organizing scientific visits to enhance the level of students' knowledge so that they know what kind of goals are pursued in each field, what facilities are available in that field, and what activities are being done in that area. I will define these visits at the national level as well. Therefore, organizing these visits and student participation in them is important."

He added, "We at Amirkabir University of Technology will provide the necessary support for industrial visits." The head of Amirkabir University of Technology also discussed the importance of scientific lectures, stating: "We have a very large group of experts in the country, some of whom are graduates of this university. We can invite them to share their experiences with the students. We can even invite foreign experts to the university."

He also referred to global innovation indicators in the past decade and noted, "I had a report in this regard to examine global innovation trends. The report indicated that our country has moved up 51 steps compared to a decade ago and has improved its position in terms of patent registration and scientific production. However, in these circumstances, Amirkabir University of Technology has achieved first place in terms of foreign and international patent registration among industrial universities in the past three years, and second place among domestic universities, which is an honor for us."
The head of Amirkabir University of Technology recalled: "Nowadays, a slogan has been formed in society, according to which we refer to a knowledge-based economy, and then we have moved beyond that and introduced the knowledge-based industry, meaning that we need an industry and thinking based on knowledge. Today, a country can succeed if it has established all its intellectual foundations based on knowledge. Therefore, we need to formulate all our activities based on a scientific mindset. If we make an effort in this regard, we will have good successes."

Rahaei emphasized at the end: "In the past three months, we at Amirkabir University of Technology have signed a national contract in the field of artificial intelligence, and based on that, the university has been chosen to plan based on artificial intelligence and has acquired a good budget to plan the topics related to artificial intelligence. This is not limited to artificial intelligence alone, and we can implement this policy in all fields."
The Deputy of Cultural and Student Affairs at Amirkabir University of Technology stated: "Undergraduate students need to identify the country's needs and find solutions for them."
The Deputy of Cultural and Student Affairs at Amirkabir University of Technology stated that undergraduate students need to identify the country's needs and find solutions for them. He mentioned that scientific associations play an important role in this vision, as they facilitate the connection to pleasant horizons and can provide opportunities for industrial visits or identify the country's needs in various fields, providing information for undergraduate projects.

Dr. Mehrdad Saviz, in a meeting of the scientific associations of Amirkabir University of Technology, evaluated the importance of student scientific associations in the university and said: "Before you, as students, join and become part of the Amirkabir University of Technology family, this university had one of the most beautiful student spaces before the spread of the coronavirus. This means that in laboratories, libraries, etc., students were working towards creating a dynamic economy for the country and connecting with the industry."

He further stated: "Students at Amirkabir University of Technology have always been pursuing innovation and new inventions, which has made our university one of the most significant in terms of industry relations. However, the era of the coronavirus has caused some daily habits to be abandoned from a distance, and students have had to set aside some activities, including virtual learning, for various reasons. Our hope is that active student groups will become lively again, and our students will once again pursue creation and invention."
The Deputy of Cultural and Student Affairs at Amirkabir University of Technology referred to the purpose of undergraduate studies and added: "We must identify the country's basic needs during this period and choose elective courses based on what we are creating, and build a sample of it in our undergraduate project. When a laboratory sample is created, the university has further plans for them and helps establish an initial knowledge-based company so that the product enters the economic arena and receives domestic producer support."

Saviz also recalled: "The goal of entering the undergraduate program is not necessarily to become a job seeker and look for work after graduation; rather, undergraduate students should identify the country's needs and address them in order to ultimately lay the foundations for knowledge-based companies. Scientific associations play an important role in this vision, as they facilitate the connection to pleasant horizons and can provide opportunities for industrial visits or identify the country's needs in various fields, providing information for undergraduate projects."

The Deputy of Cultural and Student Affairs at Amirkabir University of Technology concluded by stating: "It is not right to strive to become a member of the industry during the undergraduate program; instead, we should become creative and innovative in the industry. Our desire for students is to form a team and engage in scientific work to create a product so that at the end of the four-year undergraduate program, they become the initiators of a knowledge-based industry. Fortunately, Amirkabir University of Technology has also been established with this goal in mind."
