The recently released ISC 2022 subject rankings include 44 universities from the Islamic Republic of Iran, each recognized for their performance in various subject areas. Notably, Amirkabir University of Technology has emerged as one of the top institutions worldwide in this prestigious ranking.The subject ranking system encompasses six main categories: natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine and health, agricultural sciences, social sciences, and humanities, along with 42 subcategories. Among these, Amirkabir University of Technology has particularly excelled in engineering and technology, securing a commendable rank of 251-300 among the country's universities.
In the field of mathematics, Amirkabir University of Technology has achieved a remarkable global rank of 217, making it the leading institution in the country. Similarly, in computer and information science, the university has claimed the second position among Iranian universities with a global ranking of 301-350.
Furthermore, in the field of chemical sciences, the university has secured a commendable global rank of 351-400, positioning it as the third-best institution in the country. In civil engineering, Amirkabir University of Technology stands at an impressive global rank of 164, while in electrical and electronic engineering, it secures a commendable global rank of 251-300, earning the second spot in the country.
Additionally, the university has been recognized for its excellence in mechanical engineering, securing the 78th spot globally, and medical engineering, where it ranks 234th.
